Visiting rules

1. General Provisions

1.1. These Rules and Conditions are mandatory for review and compliance by all patients of Lumos Vision Clinic (hereinafter referred to as the “Clinic”).

1.2. Booking an appointment and/or receiving services at the Clinic constitutes the patient’s full and unconditional acceptance of these Rules.


2. Appointment Scheduling and Consultation Time

2.1. The physician reserves the right to delay the start of a consultation by more than 15 minutes if the previous patient requires additional medical attention due to complications.

2.2. The physician is obliged to complete any ongoing consultation in full, guided by medical indications, standards of medical care, and the principle of patient safety priority.

2.3. The patient acknowledges and agrees to possible delays and undertakes to treat them with understanding.


3. Late Arrival, Cancellation, and Rescheduling

3.1. In case of the patient’s late arrival exceeding 30 minutes, the Clinic reserves the right to:

  • cancel the scheduled consultation;
  • offer rescheduling of the consultation only upon advance payment.

3.2. If an appointment is cancelled by the patient less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, the Clinic reserves the right to:

  • require 100% prepayment for the next consultation appointment.

3.3. A mandatory 100% prepayment applies when booking an appointment for the fitting of any type of rigid lenses, including overnight (orthokeratology), rigid gas-permeable, and scleral lenses.


4. Consultation Format and Communication with the Physician

4.1. All questions regarding diagnosis, treatment, and medical recommendations must be asked exclusively within the scope of the paid consultation, preferably at the end of the appointment.

4.2. The patient has the right to make an audio recording of the physician’s answers at the end of the consultation.

4.3. The physician reserves the right not to provide consultations, explanations, or answers to questions outside the consultation, whether online or offline, after its completion, except in cases of medical necessity.

4.4. Upon request, the patient may purchase a subscription for 1, 3, 6, or 12 months. Subscription details may be obtained from the Clinic’s managers.


5. Rules of Conduct in the Clinic

5.1. Patients are required to maintain cleanliness, order, and silence on the Clinic premises.

5.2. Loud conversations, including phone calls, and any noise that may disturb staff or other patients are prohibited.

5.3. Patients must maintain a respectful and appropriate manner of communication with medical, administrative, and other Clinic staff.

5.4. The Clinic reserves the right to terminate communication, refuse further service, or cancel an appointment in cases of rude, aggressive, inappropriate, or offensive behavior.


6. Payment for Services

6.1. Payment for medical services must be made prior to the start of the physician’s consultation, unless otherwise specified by the terms of booking.

6.2. Both cash and cashless payment methods are accepted at the Clinic.


7. Warranty, Exchange, and Returns

7.1. Eyeglasses purchased at the Clinic are covered by a 1-month warranty, excluding cases of loss, mechanical damage, or improper use by the patient.

7.2. Medical devices purchased at the Clinic are non-refundable and non-exchangeable in accordance with applicable law.

7.3. A manufacturer’s warranty of 2 months applies to overnight, rigid, and scleral lenses, excluding cases of lens loss.
