Orthokeratological (or night) lenses are rigid gas — permeable contact lenses that are worn at night for temporary correction of myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism.
Advantages
Plasma surface treatment
All orthokeratological lenses undergo plasma surface treatment, which provides increased comfort for patients by increasing the hydrophilicity of the lens.
Slowing the progression of myopia
In children and adolescents. Night lenses are included in the Federal Clinical Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of myopia in children.
Customized design
It is possible to manufacture absolutely any lenses, taking into account the individually calculated parameters of the patient's eye. The ideal solution for cases of high degree of refractive error.
MyOrtho-k
A new design of orthokeratological lenses for the control of myopia up to 4.0 D.
A feature of the new design
Controlled (adjustable) clearance of the reverse zone, which allows you to set the value of 60 microns or more even with small values of myopia.
For children 6-14 years old
The lens is designed for children aged 6-14 years with progressive myopia.
It is possible to manufacture lenses with parameters exceeding the basic characteristics. Check with your personal manager for more details.
Wearing mode: night
Replacement period: 1 year
Short adaptation period, do not require moisture to maintain their shape, do not dry out the eyes. The smooth surface and lack of water in the lens ensures reduced accumulation of tear film deposits.
Lens characteristics
Material: Contamac Optimum
Manufacturing method: turning
Oxygen permeability coefficient Dk: 100, 125
Colors: blue, green, gray, purple
It is possible to order lenses with the following parameters:

Indications for selection of MyOrtho-k
Progressive nature of myopia.
Myopia from 0.5 diopters to 4.0 diopters.
IMPORTANT: for myopia over 4.0 diopters, the choice of this design is not justified, since there is no need to additionally increase the clearance of the return zone.
Myopic astigmatism (central and peripheral - up to 2.0 diopters).
The age of active progression of myopia is 6-14 years.
IMPORTANT: Children over 14 years of age may require more time for visual adaptation.
Anisometropia < 3.0 diopters.
Motivation of the patient and parents, agreement to adhere to the wearing regimen (use of OKL for at least 8 hours every night).
