Defocus (Bifocal) lenses

Defocus (bifocal) lenses are special soft contact lenses designed to control and slow the progression of myopia in children and adolescents by creating myopic peripheral defocus, which inhibits the growth of the eyeball.

Advantages
  • Slowing the progression of myopia
In children and adolescents (lenses simultaneously provide high visual acuity and cause peripheral relative myopic defocusing).
  • Unique lenses
The soft bifocal lenses OKVision® Prima BIO Bi-focal and OKVision® Defocus Control Lens have no analogues in Georgia. It was developed by our company and has been used to slow the progression of childhood myopia since 2018. The lenses are also available in a daily replacement format.
  • Protective edge of the lens
It does not disrupt the tear exchange in the subcrustal space, does not sink into the conjunctiva, as it is located parallel to it.
  • Safe and comfortable wearing
Reducing the possible risks of complications and eliminating additional care products, as well as the possibility of longer wearing (up to 14 hours) compared to lenses with monthly replacement.
